It's a sad sad day when nine days of annual leave end. At least there is something to show for my nine day love affair with free time. I did a little guest blogging for Runway Passport at Brisbane Fashion Week ( which is all right there --> Tumblr.) There was an unfortunate abundance of wet weather on the first night and a serious lack of umbrella on my behalf (some would say I kick goals). So rocking the latest look I like to call, 'half-drowned-chic', I sat myself down near the kick ass blogger Francesca from Opinion Slave. She is also the new blogger for Broadway on The Mall's blog The Front Row!! The saying goes one mans trash is anothers treasure, and after recently making my official debut into the wonderful world of the Suitcase Rummage here in Brisbane, I am hooked on this notion. Thrifting was once taboo but now a global phenomenon that is a smart, sustainable and socially conscious way to consume fashion. My friends Lauren & Jesse met me for an early morning coffee in King George Square, suitcases in tow, for what turned out to be a wonderful day of selling, buying, style stalking and making friends with neighbouring "rummagers". Not to mention turning years worth of unused miscellany into a cool little profit; and of course finding a few hidden treasures to take home for ourselves.

The girls at Suitcase rummage put this great event on once a month, usually the first Sunday, but you can keep an eye out for upcoming rummages by following their blog which also has a registration page. It's a much cooler alternative to selling your goods at markets and it is cheaper, being only $10 to register. Oh and you don't have to get out of bed at an ungodly hour as the rummage usually opens for set up around 10.

Also, I find myself ever surprised and impressed with the calibre of street style that pounds the pavement around Brisbane. I got my creep on and took a few snaps of stylish suitcase rummage patrons.

Hey everyone .... So, I had a bit of a head rush Friday night and decided to pull together a last minute entry for the MYER Stylist Competition. The shoot had to take Inspiration from the 80s, 90s or 00s to celebrate 25 years of Miss Shop. I went from house to house raiding my friends wardrobes for inspiration, and naturally had to go with the 80's. I also made a headpiece out of tulle to use. With my beautiful friend Tanja to model, and the lovely Brooke Holm behind the lense, we each skulled a few red bulls and had one epic night of shoot, editing and submitting.

Some called me mad, but the shoot came together so well and my entry is now in the hands of the people ... BEING YOU.Regardless, had a great time pulling this together and hopefully next time I'll get my shit together earlier.

Hello there. I've been crazy busy lately and once again the guilty pleasures in my life such as blogging have been shoved into the "maybe once you've finished that assignment" pile. In addition, it dawned on me that its once again the change of season when every girl in the universe gets that sinking feeling that summer is lurking. Which means its time for damage control to battle the love handles, paleness and hair that have taken over your body during the winter months. It's the secret reason we all love winter right? That victorious moment in the shower when you ask yourself whether to shave or not and then say "HAHA fuck it. I'm just going to wear stockings." = I WIN.

However on a recent trip to Bali there was not one pair of stockings in sight and my vendetta against shaving was over. So venus razor in hand, it was time to take off my trench coat and get into my bathers. Bali turned out to be amazing (already planning my next trip). I returned feeling browner, relaxed and much more optimistic about summer being just around the corner. Although broke, behind with uni and saddened that asking for a "cheaper price" isn't socially acceptable here. Just think of how greatly it would improve student living conditions. Anyway time to get back to reality.

Q & A with Benjamin Ringuet

I recently had the privledge of spending some time with multi-talented up and coming Brisbane designer Benjamin Ringuet. He invited me out to a beautiful property in Mt Cotton, home to photographer Rebecca Nathan, where we spent the day shooting for his next lookbook.

Having just been hand picked to showcase his Autumn/Winter 2010 collection entitled "Redemption" in the Queensland Design Innovation Show at Mercedes Brisbane Fashion Festival (MBFF) there has been much hype and talk about Ben and his bright future in fashion.

His clothes have femme fatale allure, that is both provocative, and hold as much intrigue as the designer himself. Ben took some time out from the shoot to talk about his label, the inspiration behind "Redemption" and his MBFF debut.

FR: Inspiration is a concept spoken about so often with designers, I find it quite a fascinating process. Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garcons talks about inspiration as being a mindset; something that comes intrinsically rather than something that can be produced or forced. What are your views on inspiration as the basis for designing a collection?

BR: Inspiration cannot be produced or forced it comes and goes when it pleases and when you least suspect it, ideas appear. It is either within you or against you. In my experience collections design themselves, through the circumstance that I am in, when I am designing. The moment you stop trying to be inspired, is the moment when inspiration will find you.

FR: You have said in the past that your label is a real translation of Ben Ringuet the person, so would you say that you look to yourself and your experiences to inspire your designs?

BR: I believe all individuals at some point express and translate elements of themselves into projects that they are working on. It’s unavoidable to leave your experiences and perceptions on anything you pour your identity into.

FR: So then what did “Redemption” mean for you as a collection? What did you hope it would represent?

BR: I wanted to offer my own view on fashion and create a collection that would really convey all my emotions and ideas artistically. I wanted to test my imagination it would produce. Redemption really represents our inner struggle to find beauty, but reveals the uncleansed reality of our tainted existence.

FR: As a designer you are clearly a creative person, do you ever find the human form restrictive? When you are not designing clothes, what do you use as a creative outlet?

BR: Designing for me isn’t a restriction; it’s a release from reality. A secret place where I can escape from my everyday surroundings, and just be honest with myself and devise. When I’m not designing I draw, paint, write, create films as well as poetry and music. All my designs come from each of these elements, so I’m not restricted to the human form.

FR: As a young designer or young creative in any field for that matter, money isn’t always there straight away, actually it hardly ever is. Many work for no money for a long time before their careers take off. What have been the biggest hurdles you have had to face as a new label?

BR:Young designers and artists usually have big dreams and aspirations but don’t have the money to fund it. But if they want it bad enough, then money isn’t an issue, it should never be an issue. If you have a talent you should pursue it with everything you have, because you only live once. People who work hard for a long time without praise and glory see the bigger picture, there’s a brighter light for them at the end of the tunnel. The biggest hurdles have been learning to run and operate as a proper business.

FR: Is there any particular designer who's career you look up to?

BR: This may come as a shock, but I don’t really follow any careers of fashion designers. But if I had to pick someone I would say Gail Sorronda because she dares to be different.

FR: I've always felt like young creatives here in Brisbane are a very close knit and collaborative community that support each other in getting labels and ideas off the ground. How do you feel Brisbane has responded to your label?

BR: Brisbane does have a close artistic community but it’s still young and stereotyped. Everyone is very supportive and it’s good to have people to lean on, when needed. My debut collection is due out in September so I haven’t yet seen their response. I have had a good response from stockists throughout Brisbane. If I was going to say where I have had the best response it would be Melbourne.

FR: What pearls of wisdom have you picked up that you would pass on to other young up and coming designers?

BR: Try and develop and create your own existence in this industry. Have unrealistic goals and work hard to offer something unique and honest to yourself and the community.

FR: There has been a lot of attention and talk about Brisbane being an emerging fashion hub, what do you think of Brisbane street style in comparison to other cities that have already established themselves as fashion forward epi centres?

BR: Because of our little gadgets such as laptops and I- phones, fashion conscious individuals can go onto blogs and websites and see what everyone else is wearing in other cities when choosing outfits. Brisbane’s climate defines the way we dress because of the heat throughout most of our year. In Sydney and Melbourne the fashion differs as it alot because its cooler down south, which gives them a chance to dress more detailed with layers and accessories. Every city in Australia has its own style; you just have to pick it from the rest.

FR: So, you are showing for MBFF for the first time, this is a huge opportunity for any new designer. How do you think events like MBFF are helping the Brisbane fashion scene?

BR: I am very excited to showcase my first collection at Brisbane fashion week, is a huge opportunity to be selected to do this on my debut collection. MBFF shows the rest of Australia the talent being created in Brisbane. It’s also healthy for the general public to induldge in a week of the latest trends and fashions.

FR: What is next for Benjamin Ringuet after MBFF?

BR: I have just been selected to have my garments in the prestigious South Australian Fashion Show Noir. I also plan to finish my up and coming film for the release of Redemption that I have been working on with the courier mail.

So, while I've got the ball rolling about women who get better with age, I want to share an article I read on Helen Mirren. Its hard not to fall in love with what wonderfully secure and liberated woman she is. Yes, sure, some are of the opinion she gets her bits out a bit too often, but I figure when you win the genetic lottery and look as healthy and radiant as her well after menopause, why not be loud and proud about your body. Love her or hate her, I think her perspectives on age and sexuality are wonderful and so inspiring.

I was swept off my feet more than usual with this months Russh. Firstly, the incredible Stevie Dance, who has bought so much joy to the pages of Russh each month, has finally been appointed editor. I personally feel as though she is the creative backbone of the magazine, so its only logical the top job had her name on it eventually. I like to think of her as Australia's answer to Grace Coddo. Her shoots are truly inspired and hold such depth that engages you far beyond a mere fashion shoot. She is a true story teller.

Secondly, this months cover shoot " Bunny aint no kinda rider" is all kinds of amazing. It features Tony Ward and Leva Laguna in an age old story of the fiery chemistry between artist and muse. Portrayed in only a way Dance could, with large orgasmic explosions of colour, caught so spectacularly by Will Davidson. It's sexy, and so beautiful. Could they have picked a more perfect man to portray this role other than Ward I ask?

Yes, I am still alive. Yes, it does feel like a million years since I last posted. Due to the fact that, no, uni hasn't finished (until 7:00pm tonight that is), and Yes, at exactly 7:15 I will be sipping on a nice strong beverage. It breaks my heart how time consuming uni is sometimes, its going well and I can't wait to graduate, however I've neglect my bloggy wog. Lucky for my blog, unlike the myriad of plants and other living things Ive attempted to nurture, it can't die. Anyway, back to the point of this post. It may be old news to most by now, but I don't care, I still have so much love for the Spring '10 collection; and just when I thought it was impossible give it anymore love, I laid eyes on the lookbook. Now, love is a word often tossed around lightly in my rantings about various collections, so I almost want to refrain from using it here, because this is more mind blowing than anything I have ever seen.

Lok Jansen, the man behind all of Prada's lookbooks, has outdone himself. Like stills from a movie about dystopian time travellers, he has represented the fantasy of the collection so brilliantly. Prada has well and truly stolen my heart.

Have you ever stopped to observe the crazy beautiful paradox that is life? I've come to a few realizations recently about my very own tangled web of contradictions, and then discovered, they aren't just my own, I look around and I see contradictions everywhere. Just think about the number of times you have heard someone say “I would never do that.” And before you know it, there they are, doing the very thing they said they would absolutely never do. I know I am guilty of it. Its easy to say you stand for "this" or "that" but to actually live by it exclusively is a challenge we all fail at. Yet are ever so swift in remarking on the weaknesses of others.

Have we all just perfected the art of contradiction? The art of simultaneously holding a cigarette in one hand, a glass of wine in the other and telling our friends (and ourselves) how superbly our 'get fit' plan is going.

LMFF Roundup - Target Rocks Red Market (TRRM)

The last day of LMFF bought a little tear to my eye, not only because the end to my fabulous Melbourne adventure was looming, but because it meant that I would soon be back at my desk banging my head against uni text books in frustration. However, all was not doom and gloom, if anything could have bought a smile to my face it was the Target Rocks Red Market extravaganza. Star studded, perfect weather and great affordable fashion.

John Course provided pre-show entertainment, warming up the crowd with a little help from the midday sun, while I got a little jiggy with it in my seat. The fashion rolled out onto the runway styled in the image of the Target logo with some surprisingly fashion forward options. You will be able to find all the latest trends for winter, from ankle boots to riding boots and black blazers to sailor stripes, as well as a great variety of knit wear. Too make it all the more exiting, my girl crush Whitney Port was sitting across from me. She was on stage after the show talking about her love of mixing designer with budget buys, wearing her own Target tee teamed with designer leopard skirt. She was so well spoken and just absolutely stunning. I also got a little giigle, and a slightly larger head, when some Japanese boys approached me for a photo, thinking I was Whitney. I put it down to the new blonde locks and large sunglasses hiding my face. I went along with it nonetheless.

Speaking of stunning ladies, the powers that be sat me alongside the gorgeous and talented melbourne local and stylist Miss Elaine Marshall. We became friends instantly after striking up conversation over our mutual love for Whitney Port and her studded boots (which are from a great boutique called Lion in Love). LMFF Roundup - KOOKAI

It was the maiden voyage down the runway for KOOKAI this year at L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Week, and even the owners of the company were suited up in the front row to watch the debut (I place emphasis on the suite part as it was about one million degrees in Federation Sqaure). The winter range was a strong reflection of Kookai's quintessential French-Australian fusion, even a little more so this season with a range of mime striped dresses and splashes of red, white and blue. The direction then made a complete 180 turn between parisian chic and street glam. I was sold at the tribal 'where the wild things are' head bands but the hits kept rolling. Known for their great range of basics, there were some standout body con dresses and skirts, and plenty of other great basics that could be layered up over and over again. I left feeling like I had been reacquainted with an old friend, and remembered why I love Kookai so much. They do what they do ..... and they do it well.

LMFF Roundup - Runway presented by COSMOPOLITAN

So today I was off to Central Pier for the L'Oreal Paris Runway presented by COSMOPOLITAN magazine. It was the first major show I have seen here at LMFF and I think I looked like an excitable young pup who just experienced the beach for the first time. Not to mention I was in the second row, right behind the one lady who most women would turn for, Ruby Rose. She looked incredible as expected, and I couldn't take my eyes off her Romance was born clutch. I managed to focus my attention back to the runway as the show started with an onslaught of Aussie designers hitting the stage. I have so many more photos and illegible notes to trawl through from the show, but here are few to start off with ....

This is Genevieve.

Flirty cut outs and lingerie as outwear provided a provocative and sexy statement from This is Genevieve. Practical for winter? Probably not, but the range had all the hottest colours we are seeing coming through for winter, as well as some great shoulder detailing on the dresses which I am just loving.

Bettina Liano.

Really had it all this season, the range was a stark contrast between ultra feminine boudoir corsetry to shapeless boyfriend blazers. All in muted blues and greys, with the usual dose of Bettina denimy goodness.

Nina Maya.

Sleek, chic and ultra feminine in all aspects of shape, colour and prints used. Heavy accessories broke it up nicely and added some punch.

LMFF Roundup - ANT!PODiUM

Antipodium paid homage to the culture and humour of Australian indigenous artists, through a collection of fun Australiana inspired safari wear this season. Heavy utility safari pants were shown alongside soft silk dresses with indigenous prints, while hiking boots were teamed with bright pink socks. Socks and ankle boots have been redone by almost every designer showing here this week but the look at Antipodium has been my favourite so far.

A playful element was added to the collection with cute knitted Goanna's slumped sleepily over models shoulders, and giant over sized knit scarves which appeared to weigh more than the models wearing them. I couldn't help but think the scarf would make a really cosy picnic rug. There was also lots layering and and animal prints galore.

Mixing tales of 80's office worker and damsel from a horror movie (Working Girl meets Nightmare on Elm Streetis how designers Luke Sales and Anna Plunkett describe it). Obviously this saw many references to iconic 80's dressing, with oversized power shoulders and over the top embellishments on everything from sunglasses to shoes.

Even though the collection felt a whole lot more wearable then last season, there a whole lot of crazy going on, with all the expected Romance Was Born theatrics and showmanship. The cosmic print pants, as well as the blazer with safety pin covered collar, were standouts. I was lucky enough to see that jacket up close, as one of the LMFF organisers was wearing it at the door. It was incredible, and totally D.I.Y'able.

Melbourne is amazing. It is also a maze. I didn't head the many warnings from friends to invest in a pocket map, choosing to rely on my sense of adventure. How hard can navigating around a few inner city streets be? The answer to that I've discovered is ..... BLOODY HARD. I did stop to ask several locals for directions but it seems they too haven't mastered the Melbourne grid (or should I say rabbit warren). So, I ended up eating my words along with some comfort food, as I took refuge at Degani Bakery Cafe to recompose myself. A stroke of serendipity if you ask me. It is a gorgeous little italian place with great ambience, and vantage point for people watching. I wasn't tempted by the array of amazing baked goods on offer, instead opting for a fresh fruit salad .... but im considering going back to try.

LMFF Roundup - Forever New

Forever New launched their Winter collection under a blistering Melbourne sun yesterday. Regardless I was still excited by the prospect of a black shagpile coat and Olivia Newton John black body suite, and happily would have swapped my mini shorts for some of their devine lace stockings and knitted dresses. The collection was an eclectic mix of ladylike vintage glamour with rock sensibilities; Think lace, fur, animal prints and heavy denim jackets ... lots of layering and don't go lightly on the accessories. The models glided down the runway to the angelic voice of Julia Stone with an abundance of great winter staples on offer for shoppers. From Chanel inspired chain bags, boyfriend jackets, to classic knitwear. Ohhh and did I mention ANKLE BOOTIES (probably my favourite accessory of all time).

I also went into the Forever New store in Flinders street mall to scope out how the ladies on the floor were wearing the trends. Their store has also been transformed into a parisian inspired visual feast. It feels like you are walking into a giant jewelery box, with giant strands of pearls drapped through the windows and huge vintage mirrors on every wall.

LMFF roundup - Nervo Twins

Nervo Twins, Mim and Liv are the LMFF Ambassadors this year, and as such have been whisked back and forth between all the shows, which has resulted in my new favourite sport; "Nervo hunting". Yes, I've been getting my stalker on. Always styled perfectly from head to toe, it was really hard to focus on the models with the pair sitting directly across from me. They are absolutely stunning and didn't stop laughing and smiling the whole time, they seem super down to earth; not to mention the hair envy I had. The crazy pixie crop meets Yahoo Serius do, can only be pulled off by few, not to mention its bleached blonde to boot. If you aren't familiar with the twins, they are Melbourne born girls who have shot to stardom as songwriters on the international music scene. They boast an impressive list of hits including "When Love takes Over" written for Kelly Rowland and are being watched closely by the music industry as stars on the rise.

The block in New Farm, where Kent and Brunswick street meet, to be exact. On this lovely little corner lies the love child of Antonia Kelly and Katrina Hess ... Stella + Moon Gallery. A divine collaborative where 'art and beauty meet', quite literally. You can wine and gaze upon works from Brisbane's up and coming creative talent, pop in for a skin treatment or even pick up a unique gift for a friend ..... (or yourself). Either way, its a total indulgence of the senses, and a must see for those looking for new and exciting places to visit in Brisbane.

The next exhibition to hit Stella + Moon, "LIKE ME, LIKE YOU" by Laura and Claire Patterson begins on March 17 through to April 10.

All in all, not overly impressed with Fendi this season. There were still some honorable mentions throughout the collection & the colour palette was right on key for fall/winter; mustards, royal blues, purples and black. However, as your eyes scan down the models from head to toe ... I found myself suddenly start turning my head a little to one side in a sort of bewildered daze.

When it comes to the shoes, disappointed is an understatement. The shoes at Fendi for Fall 2010 are so very underwhelming and a horrible distraction from the better aspects of the collection. The shoes or should I say rubber-toed/frumpy wellingtons, couldn't be more of a polar opposite of last seasons sexy predecessors. The whole "because of the times" excuse is growing tiring too. What they call "utilitarian" is what I would call plain old boring and hideous design. Flicking through the collection, all I did was found myself humming "U.G.L.Y. you ain't go no alibi, YOU UGLY".

Carine. How do I love thee? Let me count thy ways

Watched an insightful 3 part-interview with wunderkind Carine Roitfeld of French Vogue, and I've come to learn that there are so many things I love about this woman. I will do my best to keep ranting to a minimum, but it is hard when you have such admiration for influential figures in fashion such as Carine, who is amongst one of the most truly intriguing woman in fashion today.

First of all, I love the way her french accent curls clumsily around broken english sentences, I could listen to her talk all day. Secondly, she seems so genuinely in love with her role in fashion. While she is obviously no fool, she is less concerned about business and more about her romantic ideals of fashion, and strong appreciation for it as an art. Which I can only assume stemmed from her Pre-Vogue resume, where she worked hands-on alongside some of the greats like Tom Ford and Mario Testino as a stylist (jealous??) . So even amidst the doom's day financial situation and commercialism of fashion, she says that she wants to sell French Vogue becase of the "pretty pictures" that fill its pages. Her vision extends far beyond the bottom line.

Thirdly, her romanticism is evident in her style mantra, "style is not always about clothes, but about a look" a mood, a moment. A mantra that I think is a refreshing one, as well as a healthy one for woman. It not only makes fashion more accessible and less about 'following trends' but it makes it more about it being enjoyable. I have always been of the opinion that style transcends mere concepts of fashion, becoming more about the essence of a person. It embodies a persons taste in music, political views, personality, beliefs and so much more. A person should make the clothes; is shouldn't be that the clothes make the person. And I believe Carine herself is a fine example of this. She is a total gem and French Vogue is safe in her hands.

Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2010

Burberry Prorsum has fast become one of my all time favourite labels. One of those labels that I'd be more than happy to dress in exclusively for the rest of my life. It has a Carine Roitfeld element that evokes total power, intellect and sexiness. Further cemented in their current choice of muse, Emma Watson. With Christopher Bailey at the helm this label has only gone from strength to strength in my eyes. If it is even soley for the fact that Burberry is finally free of instant association with retiree's who sport matching outfits to golf days, and since become synoymous with elegance, sophistication and luxury; and its more youthful than ever.

Ok, so its not technically the end of summer, but my summer holidays are about to come to an official and ubrupt end. Ive been home visiting family in probably whats best described as paradise. I've spent the past two months sunbaking, reading and drinking whenever I please .... however, reality is a "you know what" and its time to pack my suitcase and get back to life in the city. Where all that awaits me is house hunting, job hunting & preparing for another huge and final year of uni. Its all very exciting slash daunting. I hope 2010 treats me as well as 2009 did.

p.s. I have a new obsession with Whitney Port. There is no denying that this girl can throw an outfit together. I think this one would be perfect for my impending flight home. Comfy but not daggy.

So I annoyed the hell out of my mate Rob to organise a day with me where we would just drive around and find some cool locations, then I would style, he would shoot. Here are some of the results from the day. Its the first time I've done this and it was a great experience. My hat goes off to Grace Coddington more than ever; its one of those jobs that seems uber glamorous on the surface but its seriously hard work. After 7 hours of shooting I think we ended up with some really beautiful shots. I wont upload them all now, but here are a few.

The Scare - Could be Bad

This is what I imagine a love child bewtween INXS and the B52's would sound like. The vocals on this track are sexy as hell. Hailing from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, The Scare have been making a name for themselves on the Aus music scene. The group are nominated for a J Award for best video of the year which is to be announced tonight. They have some tough competition in that category though, they are up against Art vs. Science for their clip for Parlez Vous Francais, which is my hot favourite.

My brain almost exploded. Supergroup is an understatement. This latest collaboration of masterminds sees Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters, Josh Homme of Queens of the Stoneage and John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin fame team up for a new venture under the title Them Crooked Vultures. First of all I love all of these men very much and their work for each of their respective bands, so when I first heard about the collaboration I had high expectations and they did not disappoint me. The first single New Fang is a killer track, and along with this teaser for the album release, featuring a song called Gunman ... I am completely sooooold. I can't wait to here the album in its entirety. Due to be released on the 17th of this month, and I'm going to be first in line.

He dropped out of a Political Science degree to work at Index Magazine, and bravo I say ... best career decision ever or these may never have seen the light of day. Brilliant? Oui Oui ....

Crazy french mustache's always make me smile, especially crazy french mustache novelty goods. Its Movember very shortly too, and many of my man friends have started donning the fuzz. Seeing as women lack the genetic make up to grow facial hair for the occasion ..... I thought few of these items would come in handy. The gloves are awesome!

Mustaches always remind me of my senior art teacher, who not only styled his facial hair al la Salvidor Dali, but he actually looked freakishly similar. He made art class great. Wasn't the most incredible teacher, never taught us a thing. But he had this "I-had-way-too-much-fun-in-the-seventies" personality, so I couldn't help but like the guy. On the topic of facial hair that brightens my day, my friend and pseudo wife Lauren introduced me to an Adelaide band called The Beards. A band with beards, that sing about beards. Exclusively. Those with a good sense of humour and a love of classic rock must check it out. My favourite lyrics? "If your dad doesn't have a beard, you have two mums ..... two beardless mums" ......... you've been warned.

Proenza Schouler Spring 2010

Carrying on from the aquatic inspirations seen at Alexander McQueen, I picked up on a few fishy references throughout the Proenza Schouler collection when I was skimming through it last night. The silky vibrant colours used in the patterns and accessories reminded me so much of the the fish and coral up north on the Great Barrier Reef. The designers noted their love of surfing as one of their inspirations for the season, so I guess that explains the resort, oceanic vibe I'm getting ..... overall its a fun collection with a lot of beautiful prints that I quite enjoy

Don't know much about the origins of these artworks unfortunately. All google was able to tell me was that they are from a German based artist. Would love to know more about them, if anyone has any information they could share? They are as great as the men they were painted of. And plus they remind me of acid wash jeans. Not sure if Im alone in my views on this, but "threesome" and "Chanel" are two words I honestly never thought I'd hear used in the same sentence.

Things turned a bit porno at Chanel Spring/Summer 2010 when three models got down and dirty in the hay, in probably the worlds most fashionable threesome. I really dont know how I feel about it to be honest. I cant help but wonder if Coco Chanel is turning in her grave?? Afterall she is famous for the quote, "A woman should be two things, Classy and Fabulous". Yeah .. just not sure how "Chanel" it is. mmmmmmmmmmm .........

On the other hand the clothes were amazing as you would expect, quintessential Chanel with a Karl twist on banyard chic. And as for those studded clogs .... LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
