Cult NYC label Sophomore have released their third full collection.
The images above are from the Fall 09' Lookbook. Sophomore, translated as ''the wise fool'', is the perfect way to describe the overall rebellious, teenage runaway, modern day Lolita, vibe each of the lookbooks have.
Leading lady Chrissie Miller has come a long way from the days of designing tee's for her friends. The label grew in leaps and bounds as celebrities and top retailers showed interest in her work. Gaining full momentum the label has grown from a few t-shirts to a full contemporary collection, now sold in Barneys, Opening Ceremony and Satine.
Sophomore has not strayed from the quintessential laid back NYC style, that has been the thread between the collections. Each collection is bursting with cool, timeless basics that have the fashion world ever so sure Sophomore is here to stay for seasons to come.
